If it was recent enough you should still be able to work out the amount due from the Finnair e-ticket receipt. But yes, the carrier surcharge is definitely in scope for Mennens.

Note that technically speaking it's downgrade reimbursement you're seeking rather than a refund. May seem a trite point but it's important to use the right phraseology to make sure they process the right thing in the right way.
