If the LCY service moved to being bussed to this area it would be a huge retrograde step. I’m pretty sure the 300 gates are E190 compatible (Helvetic use on behalf of LX) but not sure about the 400s.
Oh I’ve been all the way out there too.

For context to anyone not overly familiar with DUB, these non contact stands are on the opposite side of the taxiway on the opposite side of the most distant pier (100s gates). The end of this pier is 0.5miles from the entrance to T1. Famously Ryanair objected to moving walkways being placed in the pier, though the curve around the listed old terminal would probably preclude them anyway.

Anyone familiar with DUB will be scratching their heads with this move. I can only imagine most 300s gates being used constantly for T2 departures (secure link corridor in place for arrivals, lots of walking) and lots of bussed departures to these hard stands in Swords!
