I should have added what I consider to be the key factors to such a high success rate:
  1. Exit rows
  2. Back quarter of the plane (although it comes with increased risk reward, and is slowly getting less attractive with the new slimline seats at the back)
  3. (Probably most important) My average is skewed by generally trying to avoid ET when I expect the flight to be busy and instead book/upgrade us into CE when travelling with Mrs Edd. My ability to predict this has become less accurate over the past 12 months however and I fear it will get even more difficult with the new S24 timetable.
