Having lost the official Gay Games 2006 to Chicago, Montreal in Canada is gearing up to host its own rival Games, the 1st World OutGames from 29 July - 5 August 2006 which is the week after the official Gay Games VIII conclude south of the border.

The Chicago Gay Games will happen from 15-22 July 2006, so it's a great time to be travelling in that part of the world!
