Go see the crazy seabed gold miners in Nome (or tour the remarkable, wildlife-filled Seward Peninsula) or stick a toe in the Arctic Ocean and watch the sun not set in Kotzebue, an Inupiat Eskimo community located north of the Arctic Circle.
