Really nothing to worry about either way IMO.
1. First worry - That they are oversold and we're the one's left without a room.
2. Minor worry, because its never been an issue - that they have no record of the deposit as I can't see a record of it on their site. "forget" is not the word choice I would use.

This is perfect - once I put my glasses on and woke up a bit - it clearly states that charge was for that hotel on my dates.
