It's pointless to earn miles for a programme which you cannot eventually redeem them for. What good is it to earn FB miles, if you are based in a region where you cannot redeem them, because the partenaire will not release availability for FB ?
Honestly, for TPAC flights, from what I hear, UA and *A are the go-to alliance and programmes for redemption. Forget about Skyteam.
FB has also seen its share of devaluation, as any long-time person here on this forum will tell you. Of course, the OP can do whatever he/she likes. We just want to avoid disappointment and eventual threads that all go along the lines of "Why can't I redeem my miles on DL and KE ?".
