What do you do then with the SkyPesos you've collected? JFK-TYO would cost you 400k or so in J (even an economy seat could set you back nearly 100k). If you must fly DL (because you live near an airport it dominates), FB is by far the best program within SkyTeam, which is generally considered the worst alliance for partner redemptions. The only other program in SkyTeam that is worth accumulating some miles in is VS, which is useful for some specific redemptions.
