Update:
Yesterday my HDFC card got correctly linked to my existing Marriott Bonvoy Account.
Few data points
- The Elite nights have stacked and I can see nights from both my US card and Indian card in my account
- I can see the FNAs from both India and US cards in my account.
- The whole process took almost 4 weeks, all the work was done by the RM (from opening the case to follow ups)
- My Bonvoy Account has US address and my HDFC Account has India Address US card obviously has US address.
- My Bonvoy account email is different from what is on my HDFC account (I was concerned if this will be a problem but it wasn't)
I guess they merged your new Bonvoy account (automatically created to due the result of email mismatch) after the mandatory 30 days. Glad the nights stacked up!
