Very good point, I've never understood this perspective of 'well, if I make more money I have to pay more in tax, and I don't like paying taxes'. Personally, if given the choice of making another $100k and paying $50k in taxes on it, I'll take the $100k every time, because guess what, at the end of the day I have $50k more than I did before.
Given the flight hour limitations, most Sr. pilots probably have more time off than they want/need, so this is all about $$.
I think the whole article is slanted and the so-called 'journalist' is letting their personal opinions/biases creep into their 'reporting', so it's more an op-ed piece than a 'news article' IMHO.
