Upgrade: Maybe? It was after midnight by the time I arrived and I was somewhat out of it. I think someone might have mentioned that I was upgraded to a Grand Metropolitan Suite but I'm not certain. I can't really tell the difference between these two room types from the hotel website either.
$100 Food & Beverage Credit: It was provided but was restricted to which restaurants/bars it could be used in. I didn't end up using it at all.
Breakfast: One of the better hotel breakfasts I've had in some time. There was an extensive spread including quite a few made to order stations. This was my first time eating mango sticky rice. I am now a big fan of the dish though one tour guide referred to it as the root cause of diabetes for about three quarters of her extended family.
Comment: The hotel was fairly nice overall. It's a little removed from the super busy areas but not too far by taxi. The lobby and breakfast staff were fairly nice. The check-in agent I had was neither nice nor particularly helpful. One side of the hotel has some great views and the other side has terrible ones. What was described to me as a city view was really just starting at laundry and Ac units on the side of another building. The prices at the spa are downright obnoxious.
