Knowing Krug is in very short supply, crew is now actively steering passengers to other choices which I find annoying. I flew back from Paris (where no champagne offered on the ground so SQ can save VAT!) and after my first glass of Krug they came with the basket of wines to entice me to stop drinking Krug. I told them I am aware there is only one bottle and I will drink till it's done. We crossed the red line (aka the bottle was empty) after the first 90 minutes.
I hear you. Crew were torn from wanting to provide service of yore (old timers) and being stuck with the rationing of Krug. They voiced their frustration to me. If they are not allowed, they did go against company policy then.

Agree, perhaps we should get all the Q/TPPS (as regular fliers) to kpkb — given the prices SQ charges, they should do better, no excuses.
