Thanks for the insights. I think I'm going to need to cancel my flight altogether, but I'll be sure to remove or pay for my family's EMS seats. And I assume once I'm off the reservation, they'll get charged for any checked bags, too. Hopefully, that keeps me from running afoul of their policies.
