Just concluded a three night stay. As a Plat was upgraded to a 5th floor room with a private balcony, which was actually more akin to a junior suite given the space.
The hotel is obviously quite new but, bizarrely, has a smell which permeates across the building. I could not work out if this was the cleaning fluids used or some broader issue - but you cannot miss it. It is simply unpleasant. Keeping the balcony door open helped eliminate it.
This Google reviewer pointed out the same thing 4 months ago, which suggests its not new.
Bathroom maintenance was not the best, the rainfall showerhead was covered in limescale and I am not convinced has ever been cleaned since opening.
Free breakfast was provided automatically for 2 upon check in, they didn't ask me to change my online check in default of receiving the points.
The breakfast spread was very small for a full service Sheraton. I did see someone else on the final day receiving an omelet, but this was never advertised.
The executive lounge spread was good quality but again small. Bizarrely this was the one location in the hotel without the strange odour.
4pm late checkout was provided without issue.
Overall, a good stay, particularly for the low price point - and it was perfect for visiting places outside of Nice as the railway station is 5 minutes walk away. However, I would be reticent to book in the summer if I was going to rely on the AC rather than fresh air to cool the room given the smell.
