I've been reading the terms and conditions for the chase travel together ticket and trying to understand this. Does the first part mean that 4 individuals would need to travel, with two companion passes and 2 passengers would need to pay using avios points? What happens when three individuals travel with two companion passes?

• A Member who has two valid Chase Travel Together Tickets on their account has the option to redeem both simultaneously on one flight booking, the Avios flight price must be paid for the Member and an additional individual in order that 2 companions can travel on that booking. If booking for the Member and an additional 2 companions (grand total of 3 passengers) then the booking will need to be processed through the contact centre.
