Hi Everyone as it is my first post here, thanks for your expertise so far.

Recently I have tried my luck with bids, winning two low ones after the claimed 15% discount. For me LOT upgraded the miles and qualifying points as well (continental upgrade to business gave me Z, intercontinental upgrade to premium econo gave me class A). Unfortunately, upgrading luggage seems to be officially not there (unless a confused desk person gives extra pieces). In fact in premium economy it seems I have gotten even less luggage (1 pc instread of 2 pcs). At the airport I have heard that the FTL does not get an extra luggage in premium economy - which would seem to be an error in their rules.

Now LOT is proposing an upgrade of LO 16 from class L to business on Tue, with bids starting from 665 USD (after alleged 5% discount). How reasonable is that? I don't have any access to seats view but I imagine biz is emptish as the upgrade to prem eco is more expensive than the previous time, but the biz class starting price is lower.
