Exactly what I was wondering, OP says he / she is not EU based (Australia as per profile?) so I was also thinking that there was a connection on the same ticket / PNR so what matters is the delay at the final destination.
It was a single VCE - FRA ticket - or rather, a return on round trip FRA - VCE - FRA, of which inbound FRA - VCE happened earlier and was uneventful.
