This video shows a timetable format for all aircraft movements at Heathrow in 1977. BA flights are categorised into O (Overseas) E (European) and R (Regional). You can see from this timetable that BA were still operating the VC-10 on the HKG route up until 7th July 1977. From the following day onwards it was all Boeing 747 on this route.
This is quite interesting and an absolute must for any Avgeek back then. Although for arrivals it only shows the origin of the flight and not any intermediate stops and vice versa for departures ‐ it is, after all, titled "A spotter's guide to airliner movements at London's Heathrow Airport" so it isn't quite the same as a scheduled timetable.
