So I got an even better back-up, which I may just end up using if these Axis idiots can't transfer over all my Edge Reward points to my Magnus Burgundy points in time.

Booked 4 return tickets on OZ using UA miles. Route is DEL-ICN-HND & KIX-ICN-DEL. Cost me 60K miles & $34 in taxes per sector. I've cancelled the DL tickets & am holding on to this for now.

The grand total here is 480K miles & about $280 in taxes compared to 320K miles & $2K in taxes when I finally have the ability to book with JAL.
