Hi, I'm considering this hotel for an upcoming trip and wondering if anyone has any recent reviews, especially this vs. JW.
  • We stayed at the JW last time and liked it, the location next to the park was nice, but the Ritz is fairly close to the park/shopping/UB so should be comparable, right?
  • How does breakfast compare? We LOVE the huge breakfast spread at top tier Indian hotels, so a big breakfast is a huge plus.
  • I have seen some reviews saying the Ritz has a "small" charge to add club access - does anyone have a recent data point on how much additional? I am probably looking to book two rooms, and one room on points includes club access, so we would need it only for the second room.
  • If we do have club access - do we have breakfast in the club lounge or in the regular restaurant? Is there a difference or is one better than the other?
  • Because the Amex Platinum card offers the $200 hotel credit, I am considering booking as follows: night 1 with my Amex (to get $200 off); night 2 with spouse's Amex (for another $200 off), nights 3-4 with my Amex (no discount but should get FHR benefits again). I think this should work; but any reason it wouldn't? Will the hotel work with me to keep me int he same room those nights?
  • We have 2 adults and 2 kids + my parents (6 people total). The website won't allow booking 4 people in one room -- but it will let me book 3 in one room and 3 in another. If we did that, would the hotel be ok with us regrouping within the two rooms to 4 + 2, or would they insist we stay 3 + 3 as booked? In the US hotels really don't care but in other places like Europe I know they're much more strict.
Thanks in advance!
