I just redeemed my final two upgrade vouchers before dropping down to Elite this summer. Booked an economy class ticket in U-class from Stockholm to Melbourne for 1200 USD. Outbound was showing J3 and inbound J4. Discounted business class ticket which books in J was available for the flights as well which is the best indicator for availability. Booked the quickest connection since that's what's necessary for being able to upgrade all 4 sectors. Called the Elite Plus line who were able to get the upgrade sorted in a swift and efficient manner. It's really a great benefit and certainly adds value to the Elite Plus tier now that they have gutted their award chart.
