I haven't seen any BR J class awards on any websites anymore for the most part nor any partner airlines (seats.aero/points.me).
I too am interested in knowing what's the deal as I travel back to Taipei fairly often from SF.

You can find award tickets via EVA's website directly; I was able to recently book a J class SFO->TPE in April. But again, EVA points are hard to come by and I have a Citi card specifically for them...
