Hi there, thanks for responding, I think I just needed to vent. I think I figured it out. I kept getting an error message that seemed to imply that my name was messed up but I think the error is because my GF is not registered as a flight award member. I figured I could use the reward points however I want but I'm guessing that each passenger needs their own reward account?
You can't book for people not listed in your account as award recipients. And basically have to be some level of family connection, GF is not close enough connection. So yes she will need her own account.
