was able to do a teams call with the Alaska BAGTAG team. Few items that were learned:
  • reservation in it’s entirety must be only AS metal flights. Not just the outbound portion or inbound portion.
  • tag can only be cleared if it was set by the Alaska app. If the screen was set in the BAGTAG app, Alaska app can’t clear it.
It would have been nice to have a local number to call with issues. I could not get my tag to work. Yes, followed instructions. Emailed BAGTAG support. Got response about 12 hours later after my flight had left. Not answered my problem.
