Here are the terms and conditions for the credit:

"However, each Card Account is eligible for up to a $10 statement credit per month, for a total of $120 per calendar year in statement credits across all Cards on the Account. Participating partners are Grubhub (including Seamless), The Cheesecake Factory, Goldbelly, Wine.com, Milk Bar, and select Shake Shack locations. Excludes Shake Shack locations in ballparks, stadiums, airports, rest areas, museums, and racetracks. In-person transactions and online orders only valid if made from participating partner locations in the U.S." (emphasis added)

We do purchase Shake Shack gift card (in store, not online) and that does trigger the credit.
