Hey all. Looking for a gut check here. I had a room booked for end of March, 3 nights, for 35k points a night for our family of 4. A pools suite just opened up at 70k points a night and we jumped on it (it was booking at $3100 a night). Now I'm worrying that I was too hasty and the Pool Suite isn't worth the 70k a night regardless of the room rate.
Not sure if the standard 2 queen room is still available but what do some of the seasoned GH travelers here think of the pool suite and the value at 70k points a night (vs 35k/nt in a standard room that prob would not have seen an upgrade).

standard rooms, in my opinion, are really nice and spacious. I've only ever stayed in a standard room here, and really would not even consider spending an extra 35k for a suite. A pool suite may be a bigger room, but if it's near the pool, you won't get much of a view. It could also be louder. The resort is huge and you would have to walk a lot depending on where your room is, so a pool suite would definitely reduce your steps
