I am returning from a cruise in August YVR -SDF. My original flight had a 50 minute layover in DFW, It was Canx and AA moved me to a 11am flight which is not a great option for us (new to cruising, don't know Vancouver or the airport, heard we need 4 hours, ect). So I moved it to AA YVR-SDF thru ORD. But, it only has a 42 minute connection time. The AA CSR advised me to purchase upgraded seating on the first leg to ORD and are now in row 10 , we are checking our bags of dirty clothes and will take essentials in a carry on. For you frequent flyers, can we make the connection?? Are the gates usually close together?
The next flight out for us wouldn't leave Vancouver until midnight. I would really like to get home on the same day we leave. Advice?
