MUAs are only available on cash (paid) tickets. If you've already booked an award, there's no point in calling. For DL flights, you must book at least a K or higher fare class revenue fare for coach (all PS fares are eligible -- P/A/G). C+ fares are only eligible if underlying coach fare basis is K or higher. CDG to US would be eligible on DL metal, but not US to CDG. Upgrade bucket availability for MUAs is not public, but seems to correlate fairly highly with Z bucket availability. MUA mileage amounts were increased when they dropped availability for all DL metal except ex-UK/FR/Ghana flights on 8/22/23, so prepare for mileage sticker shock.
