Our actual destination was Villa Monastero with its botanical garden. Shortly before we reached our destination, however, it started to rain. Once we arrived at our destination, we first had another problem.

The town's parking garage was closed, for whatever reason. We spoke to people who had their car in the parking garage and they were in an even worse situation. They were not allowed to get to their car and there was no information at all. I still had it good then, I only had to park in a no-parking zone. The hope was that the law enforcement officers were too busy with the parking garage. In the end, nothing happened, everyone did it that way.
The garden itself is not quite as spectacular as it is made out to be, but it is pretty, especially with its view.
















The main villa can be visited. You shouldn't expect too much here either, but it is definitely worth seeing.




























Without the weather and the worry about whether my car would still be there, it would certainly have been nicer.
