I can understand having no row numbered 13, but what’s with the number 33? This number is no longer used on the B752s; it doesn’t appear on the MAX8 or MAX9s and is no longer on the -800s or -900s that I’ve flown recently. The widebodies have a row 33 as do the B753s. Is the number 33 being nixed on newer and refurbished aircraft and what’s wrong with this number? I can’t find any culture that believes it to be unlucky.
Unless I'm going crazy, row 33 was reserved as an exit row on narrowbodies, and was such on the 753 before it was slimlined. I can't find the old seatmap to confirm though.
