Sadly, I can actually see a scenario where Medallions keep access to phone reps regardless of fare purchased, but some more restricted fares are limited to free assistance via chat only. Breeze already does this by not having phone reps at all.
My understanding is that chat reps are not employees, so there is likely a significant cost savings to DL of trying to migrate, over time, as much as they can to that group.
