If your travel is after April, and The First Wing has reopened, I’d be inclined to go via the UK border and go through the First wing (at the far right side of the departures level with your back to the entrance). Note this route deposits you in the Galleries First Lounge which you should exit and head across to the Concorde Room.

If travelling before April and TFW is still closed, it’s maybe a more marginal call between going via immigration, arrivals, up to departures and back in versus heading straight to connections and security.
Trip 2 is at the end of May, and Trip 1 is early June.

I am sorry to ask, but what is "The First Wing" and how does it facilitate security screening in comparison to the "normal" fast-track to which I am accustomed as a (typical) business class passenger on BA? (You can probably infer this is my first time traveling F on BA!)

Thanks again!
