Again, the partner booking class is not necessarily either of the things you're asking about.
I think OP is asking if this will appear as a B to the other *A program where OP's friend is crediting the flight, as opposed to the underlying fare class that's being used for differential pricing purposes.

OP: I haven't tried it myself, but my expectation is that it would credit as B.
