As far as I recall, there have been very few of reports of actual 'failures' in this thread -- 1, 2, or 3 maybe? -- versus prolonged delays and admin battles.
Yes, that's my recollection as well. I seem to think one or two of those was 'reserve now, pay later'.
I was referring to the traditional 'reserve now, pay later' - at the hotel - option that's been around since program inception.
Unfortunately, so many places I've stayed, or would like to stay, offer only this as an option. They are all Caribbean properties, unaffliated with larger hotel chains.
