That makes sense. Over the past decade or so I had my fair share of delays with various airlines.
This is the first time I've been offered appreciably more value in an eCoupon than what was required via the appropriate compensation regulation.
I will say personally I like it. I have many trips to book with Air Canada, so if they're going to offer me more dollars than I would otherwise receive it's win/win in my opinion.
