Love the 319S, will be sad to see them be retrofitted but the extra row of F is a huge silver lining, even buying confirmed First on the 319 is a pain and expensive if you're not booking super far out because the supply is so small. The LUS 319s and 320s though, this will be a HUGE upgrade, especially on the 320s. I haven't had the privilege of flying an AA 320 yet, but I've seen pictures and it's on my active avoidance list.

I love PTVs and I do wish AA would take that approach like DL and now UA have, I prefer it to PDE. At the same time though, having flown AA a lot more in the past few months than ever before, the PDE setup isn't really that bad since I have an iPad that can hook into the device holders. I can see the annoyance if you only travel with a phone and want to use your phone for other things in the flight too, or if you're using a laptop because that obviously doesn't go in the device holder and I just don't like having my tray table down much less with my laptop using the whole thing if I don't need to. iPad or tablet of some kind if you have it makes it a not bad option though.
