It doesn’t at all.They basically overcook and then just shred the beef, even though rendang should not be shredded but still recognisable as chunks of beef (like any other Asian curry type dish basically). But even when shredded, did they have to present it like that though (and don’t get me started on the colour of it)? If I was in senior management or management board of KLM getting served that on a corporate trip, some meetings would have been called very soon after the flight. It is kind of mindboggling that they can be so disconnected from the real-world perception.
