I was guessing it could be a meatloaf on yellow gravy, but it looks nothing like a rendang. Google for its images. Maybe it's typical in Netherlands, I have no idea.
At least the portion seems generous. Nonstop Dan criticized once as a 'diet airline ', I agree with him. The pre landing meals of stale burgers and empanadas are just awful. Their wine glasses, while stylish, am I the only one who feels it's a lot smaller than other airlines? I always order 2 at a time especially when I know they don't walk around for refills: most FAs are fine with that, but some of them scold me: only one at a time. I just shrug and tell them that I didn't want to use the call button for refills 🙄
