Could also be that I checked in at 11am and no suites were available since people were still in them or they were being cleaned.

Like I said in my first post, I'm a local here. I had no intention of actually staying at the property, so I didn't really care what room they gave me. All I cared about was if resort fees were waived.

Maybe if I book the property again in the future, I can ask for a suite. But I'm sure we'll have more data points before then.
