Does this mean the new F will be coming before the 777X? There have been rumours for a while that the new F cabin would debut on the 777-9, but given all the delays and the fact that BA won't get their first one until 2026 at the earliest now it's possible the A380s will be up for their refits before the 777-9 gets delivered.

I have been saying for a while that I expected them to put the new F on the 380 at the same time as the club suite refit, since the timings lined up with the original plans for both the A380 refits and 777-9 deliveries - first 777-9 in late 2022, then first A380 refit in 2023. Obviously both have missed their original targets by a long way.
