In the past, you didn't earn MQDs from CC spend, only the MQM Boosts. So this is somewhat new territory. While they didn't typically seem to reverse the MQM Boosts if you received a credit on your card and fell below MQM Boost spend thresholds, I would imagine they might have done so in extreme cases.
