Article doesn’t name a hotel. I have to chalk up these two pieces of anecdata to a misunderstanding. I’ve had suburban hotels practice “opt out” in lieu of opt in parking because the presumption is you came by your own car. But I’ve never heard of a hotel refusing the opt out.
