I chose not to take the last segment YUL-YVR, as the departure time changed from 8 PM to the next day at 7 AM.

Few days later, I received AC claims email offering AC99 BOG-YUL for $400. Air Canada provided me with a case number for the refund of a portion of my Aeroplan Reward itinerary. However, it has now been two months since then, and despite emailing Air Canada twice, they have only replied saying that the refund queue is long, and I should wait.

Has anyone else experienced a delay or non-occurrence in receiving a refund for the Aeroplan reward portion? Should I expect such delays, or is there a chance it might not happen at all? If this persists, do I need to file a complaint with Canada APPR now to get it resolved since I heard APPR wait time is 1-2 years?
For a refund of an unflown segment, I'd just call Aeroplan. They can handle that over the phone.
