The only edible food on LOT is the salmon tartare (but then, I do roughly 100 flights a year with LOT, and the chances of getting it served are at par with experiencing a day without rain in the country that employs me, so to speak). Rest, apart from the (again, rare, these days) salmon fillet you get served on e.g. LHR, is
rubbish. In the last 4 years or so, they haven’t bothered to make even the slightest adjustment to the current catering options, which says a lot about their emphasis (or
lack of) towards their so-called
premium cabins, and
customer experience needless to say (
customers paying
premium fares). On the whole, though (and I said this in previous occasions), considering where I live and given the limited options (LH/FRA amongst the very few, enough said…), LOT remains a viable choice because of the ease-of-transfer at WAW, good on-time performance (tiny airline) and arguably one of the best lounge products in Europe.
