Bonvoy Brilliant, applied for the SPG card in 2017 card, had an upgrade to the SPG Luxury, downgraded to the Marriott white $95 card, upgraded again in 2022 to the Brilliant.
Somehow, in March 2023 it renewed at the old $450 fee, this year it renewed at $650. I chatted, and was transferred to retentions, only offer was to downgrade to the white card. I'll put my $25 monthly charge on the card tomorrow, and downgrade the next day.
