[QUOTE=navydevildoc;36046748]No way AA starts SEA-JFK. Big dAAddy may have weight, but that's a massive slap in the face of a major partner./QUOTE]

AA dropped SEA-JFK but they did in fact fly it at one point. I have a hard time buying that AS is going to get massively offended that a partner is starting a route from their hub, if they do that. If AS decided to start flying SEA-CLT I suspect AA would take it in stride, and that's pretty similar.

Now, if AS started LAS/PHX-JFK...

Now that AA can't flow pax to B6 thanks to the NE Aliiance not being a thing (plus AA/AS can't codeshare on some routes because of the DOJ-imposed terms of the VX acquisition) I could see them start some JFK-West Coast routes they abandoned...

IDK though, a FA base in SEA doesn't make a lot of sense without some international flights and if AA can't make LHR work (their strongest TATL/TPAC destination) out of SEA I have a hard time seeing anything else working. Maybe once they get more 787s they could start up SEA-LHR seasonally (flying those mostly empty 772s in January-March must have been a financial drag).
