I’ve flown EVA a few times Toronto to TPE in business and a couple times on ANA J as well. Once a red eye from HND to SIN and another was a short hop from TPE to NRT. Both were great. As for EVA, I loved them as well. Back then, they used to provide Dom champagne in Business as well as pyjamas to keep and book the cook meals (with lots of choices). I found that service at the time to be almost like First. I haven’t flown EVA for a little while, but believe they are still a great airline. They also fly to Toronto, so that’s a plus. The return flight (out of Toronto) leaves quite late (1:45am IIRC) so keep that in mind since you will be starting to eat around 3am.
Thank you. Yes I fly on EVA a lot and is also a G on their Infinitymileageland. Yes they do still give the pyjamas and cannot remember if it was Dom or not for the Champagne but I know they offer it on the long hauls for sure. Just that I was looking to see a shorter route as if EVA I have to go south and and then back north again but on the other hand I would have to transit in US or Vancouver if on ANA. If the fares remain not too different then maybe I should stick with EVA as I would get a Diamond with 4 long hauls this year.
