In California they have been talking about RealID for over 5 years and it keeps getting pushed. By the time they ACTUALLY implement it, we will have moved on to face recognition or some other thing.

We did face id for a domestic flight in January, RealID is going to end up like when the US was going to convert to thr Metric System in the 80s
