Review of my stay in March 2024

Yes

Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
Booked cheapest rate and received a King Standard room.

How are the rooms?
Around 24 sqm large.
Recently renovated in a very pleasant design

Comfortable bed with usb sockets.
Desk
Seating area
Closet

Bathroom with walk-in shower.
Biology toiletries.

Kettle. Illy espresso coffeemachine
Minibar
Television with basic selection of international channels
Chromecast
No free PressReader

View over the city.
Very quiet despite facing busy avenue (2 X double-glazed windows).

Efficient air conditioning.

How is the exec. lounge?
N/A

What was good and what was bad?
GOOD
- Smiling staff (but check-in/check-out process can be very long)
- Convenient location: 1 minute walk from Aerobus Plaza España bus stop, 3 minutes walk to (great) Caixa Forum cultural centre and (superb) Mies van der Rohe Pavilion.
- Good (but not great) breakfast with fresh orange juice
- The lobby and restaurant/bar are now renovated and look superb. The change from original design is impressive.

- Nothing

Value for $ or IHG One Rewards Points? Would you return?
Very pleasant property indeed.
It is a pity that the property has no rooftop restaurant or pool.
