I was checking a suitcase at PHL yesterday and the TA there gave me some unusual info (which I think is bogus), but I thought I'd share.

On my boarding pass it says my Last Name, First Name. On my license it also has my middle name. She said once Real ID is implemented with TSA that if my middle name isn't also on my ticket, TSA will reject me and AA won't fix the ticket without a full reissuing, which they won't do at the airport. If this is the case , MANY travellers will be impacted.

It's also funny because my middle name is in my AA profile, and when I purchase a ticket, it's there. It just doesn't show on the boarding pass.

Am I right in thinking this TA is just full of it?
